Woodshop Induction, cost £20Mitre SawTable SawPlaner-ThicknesserBandsawTuesday 1st July 202519:00 Start5 People MaximumSign Up Here: This induction will cover the introductory safe use of the Table, Mitre and Band Saws and Planer Thicknesser.No prior experience necessary.Please note - we will provide goggles and ear defenders but you will want to wear sensible footwear and other clothing that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty.

Community Day (Space Improvements & Social Gathering)

Regular monthly community day for members to come together and work on• Improving the Space• Maintaining equipment• Meeting and socialising with other membersThere will be a new member orientation on the day so this is a good time for new members to come along.There may also be some tool inductions, but this will depend as we will need access to many of the machines for either maintenance, or to use them on space improvement projects.Please note the hackspace is not 'closed' during this time but there will be a lot of activity and inductions going on, this is probably not the best day to try and come in to work on your own projects.
3d printer & laser induction today

There will be a last minute 3d printing induction and laser induction today between 4 and 6Each will be a one hour sessionPlease register for the event by registering interest in the discord and adding yourselves to the wiki pages below so we can enable you laterThe first hour will be 3d printing and the 2nd hour will be the laser cutter but that may change last minute depending on people attending so please turn up at 4pm if interested if you are ableInductions will cost £10 for each

Now including space inductions, held starting at 19:00. They typically last about an hour and a half but we suggest you allow for 2 in case of a delayed start of people with a lot of questionsPLEASE NOTE:Our space inductions contain important information related to accessing and using the space, and therefore you are required to have done the ENTIRE induction to become an active member. Plan to be there for 7pm on the dot and if you are going to be a little late, contact us before 7 and we may be able to delay starting to accomodate you.Regular weekly meetups for members (or invited guests of a signed-up member to be responsible for them) - come along to check out the space & what we're about, to help with setting up the space, or for a general catch up!
