Community Day (Space Improvements & Social Gathering)

Regular monthly community day for members to come together and work on• Improving the Space• Maintaining equipment• Meeting and socialising with other membersThere will be a new member orientation on the day so this is a good time for new members to come along.There may also be some tool inductions, but this will depend as we will need access to many of the machines for either maintenance, or to use them on space improvement projects.Please note the hackspace is not 'closed' during this time but there will be a lot of activity and inductions going on, this is probably not the best day to try and come in to work on your own projects.

A bi-weekly event to exchange knolwdge, ideas, help and advice around the broader subject of textiles, including but not limited to knitting, sewing, weaving and crochet.

Weekly Induction & Member's Night

Now including space inductions, held starting at 19:00. They typically last about an hour and a half but we suggest you allow for 2 in case of a delayed start of people with a lot of questionsPLEASE NOTE:Our space inductions contain important information related to accessing and using the space, and therefore you are required to have done the ENTIRE induction to become an active member. Plan to be there for 7pm on the dot and if you are going to be a little late, contact us before 7 and we may be able to delay starting to accomodate you.Regular weekly meetups for members (or invited guests of a signed-up member to be responsible for them) - come along to check out the space & what we're about, to help with setting up the space, or for a general catch up!
