Induction - Bandsaw & Planers

Signup Here:This induction will cover the introductory safe use of the bandsaw and both our surface and thickness planer. The bandsaw is a versatile complement to the mitre and table saws, ideal for resawing, curve cutting and intricate precision cuts. Working together, the surface planer and thickness planer are designed to produce straight, flat surfaces on rough timber and to bring them to precisely the dimensions you need.

Induction - MIG Welder

Signup Here:This induction will cover the introductory safe use of the MIG welder. MIG is arguably the simplest of the welding processes available at LHS and is an ideal place to start for beginners, it’s capable of a wide variety of joint types in steel.No prior experience necessary, just a willingness to learn and to practice in your own time.Once you’ve had time to practice your skills on the MIG we can talk about an induction on the TIG, which is a very versatile machine that can handle a wider variety of materials (including aluminium) and joint types.Please note - we will provide a jacket, helmet and gloves but you will want to wear sensible footwear and other clothing that you don’t mind getting a bit dirty.
